Operation Christmas Child

This year we are again supporting a very special charity, ‘Operation Christmas Child’.  Crestwood has supported this charity for many years and it was originally introduced to the school by our own school pastor and ex Deputy Head Mr Dave Andrews. Operation Christmas ChildThe idea is to fill a shoebox with inexpensive gifts, the boxes are then  dispatched to children around the world that are living in extreme difficulties and would  normally not receive anything during the Christmas festivities.  If you would like more information go to www.operationchristmaschild.org.uk

Leaflets have been distributed to all students at Crestwood through their tutor groups.  Please encourage your children to support this charity and be actively involved in creating a Christmas box for a young child that would not normally receive a gift.  Christmas boxes must be in school before the 10th November so they can be displayed as part of the remembrance service in school on the 11th November.
