Tempest Rehearsals

July at 7pm on the school’s very own tennis courts. For two nights only this area will be transformed into an exotic island that is not all that it seems.

The story begins with a dramatic shipwreck whereby the graceful Queen Alonso and her royal party are left stranded on the island and separated from each other. As people’s true intentions are revealed it quickly turns into a race against time and some of the characters must fight for their lives as they discover some of the island’s best kept secrets. One of these is the young and beautiful Miranda who was brought to the island at an early age. Knowing nothing of the outside world, she remains untainted by greed and hate and knows only love, mainly the love of her father Prospero. He is a powerful sorcerer who has full control of the island and everyone in it. As the story unfolds, she discovers how to love another and grows from a girl to a woman.
