Crestwood Application Process

As the Head Teacher of this over-subscribed College, I would very much like to welcome you to our, and hopefully your, College. Crestwood continues to develop rapidly. I am extremely proud of what has been achieved and excited by how far we have come on our journey. We have been graded by Ofsted for a third time as good, demonstrating consistency in the quality of education we provide. Crestwood is a highly successful, innovative and personal Community College. Due to our small size we pride ourselves on the close relationships we have made with students and parents. We help all learners achieve their potential and better their life chances. Our College is a place of learning and inspiration for all our learners. It provides opportunity and challenge. We are determined and relentless as we strive for the best for our young people.

HOW DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORK?
Crestwood is a secondary school that operates on two sites: the Cherbourg Road campus and the Shakespeare Road campus. The school offers 286 places per year group.
The Hampshire online admissions form lists the school – Crestwood College – along with the address of its main administration building. If you wish your child to attend Crestwood College, you do not state a preferred campus at this stage. We will write to all prospective parents soon after the deadline of 31st October to seek an indication of your preferred campus.
Putting us down as first preference secures your child a place.
Whilst this is the first year in which the school has offered a unified admissions process for two sites, we envisage that the overwhelming majority of students and parents will receive a place at their preferred campus. In the event of oversubscription, we will apply the standard prioritisation principles: children in care, medical needs, siblings, catchment area, link schools and distance.
