Ofsted Inspection June 2018

I have great pleasure in attaching our Ofsted School Report. Our school was inspected on 26th and 27th June 2018 by a team of five Ofsted inspectors. I am delighted to announce that the school was graded as follows:-

  • Overall Effectiveness GOOD
  • Effectiveness of Leadership and Management OUTSTANDING
  • Quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment GOOD
  • Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare OUTSTANDING
  • Outcomes of Pupils GOOD

As a school community, we are absolutely delighted that the work that we have undertaken to bring our two schools together has been positively recognised. Ofsted quoted that Crestwood is ‘passionately committed to providing a first-class inclusive education for all pupils in the town’, which is testament that our vision for Crestwood as one school on two sites, providing an education for the children of Eastleigh, has been realised.

I do hope that you will take time to read the report in full, as it shows clearly that we have created a very special environment and a true ‘Crestwood family’ where all children can thrive and flourish. I thank you for your support during what, at times, has been a turbulent two years, but hope that you will agree the outcome of this inspection proves we acted with integrity for the good of our children.

If you have any queries that you wish to raise regarding this report, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a very happy Summer holidays and we look forward to welcoming you back in September when we will continue to strive to improve Crestwood
even further.

Yours sincerely,

Krista Dawkins
